University hosts and facilitates several groups that are open to all, regardless of their affiliation with University Methodist Church. All are welcome!

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem.  It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.

Al-Anon

Saturdays | 11am | Room C214/215
Wednesdays | 1pm | C210

Al-Anon is a support and recovery program that offers strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers.

Alateen

Saturdays | 11am | Room C211
 
Alateen, a part of the Al-Anon Family Groups, is a fellowship of young people (mostly teenagers) whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking.

ACA Support Group

ACA is a support group for Adult Children of Alcoholics.

Overeaters Anonymous

Sundays | 5pm | Room C211
Fridays | 7pm | Room C211

Overeaters Anonymous is a Fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength, and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating.

S-Anon

Mondays | 6:30pm | Room C210

S-Anon is a program of recovery, based on the 12 step program, for those who have been affected by someone else's sexual behavior.

Remember Me: Infant Loss Support Group

Meeting schedule varies. Contact Amy Hines for information on the next available meeting.

Remember Me is a support group for pregnancy and infant loss and serves to give community for anyone who experiences the tragic death of a baby.

REBOOT Combat Recovery

Military REBOOT is a 12-week, faith-based, peer-led course that helps veterans, active-duty military, and their families heal from service-related trauma. This course is offered twice a year and is designed for couples and individuals. For more information, contact Steve Dorner.
