SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY

The Special Needs Ministry at University seeks to offer a culture of belonging, across the lifespan to everyone who has cognitive and developmental disabilities, their families, and caregivers. We desire every person with a disability and their family to live a full life within a relationship with God and others.

Sunday Mornings

There is room for everyone on Sundays in Believer’s Garden a disability inclusive worship service, Sunday School for children, youth, and adults and Third Sunday Friends and Family Lunch. 

Thursday Bingo

7-8pm | Student Worship Center | Café Entrance

Everybody loves Bingo! Come join neurodiverse and typically-developing friends of all ages for BINGO! Entrance and prizes are free.  

Families Impacted by Disability Groups

Once a month moms, dads, grandmothers and adult sibling caretakers of children and adults with disabilities meet independently to share a meal and life together. Learn when the next gathering is by checking out our Special Needs Ministry Events below.

Sensory-Motor Playroom

The Sensory-Motor Playroom at University is a free resource that provides access to therapeutic toys and equipment for individuals with developmental delays. There are different swings, large exercise balls, bubble tower, activity boards, games, toys and much more. The Sensory-Motor Playroom is open free to the public and is available for reservations during Monday-Thursday 9AM-4PM.
